Wear Referrals Small Animal Hospital is one of the premier specialist veterinary referral hospitals in the North of England. The purpose-built hospital was a winner in the 2015 County Durham Environment Awards due to its design, appearance, and use of energy efficient measures with eco-friendly features such as a green roof, solar panels, and biomass woodchip boilers. Our Hospital is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of highly trained clinicians and supported by a compassionate and skilled nursing team. We treat complex cases is Orthopaedics, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue, and Cardiology, as well as having extensive imaging capability, and rehabilitation services, we provide Out of Hours Care for the patients of local Primary Care Veterinary Practices every day of the year. We and aim to provide referring veterinary surgeons with friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable support from initial advice to case resolution.
